What is a Delivery Analyst?

Join Delivery Associates as a Delivery Analyst and help transform the way governments work to improve peoples’ lives. A Delivery Analyst works in small teams to engage government leaders, partners, and specialized experts in delivering the greatest impact to citizens through policy ­driven work.

As a Delivery Analyst, you’ll work closely with public sector clients to design and implement strategies that deliver on policy commitments. You will improve policy outcomes through your work to formulate and test recommendations and by driving decision­ making at senior levels of government, from mayors to presidents or prime ministers. You’ll facilitate problem ­solving and collaboration across silos, planning and executing stakeholder workshops and bringing pace and focus to routine meetings. And you’ll build capacity for data­ driven decision­ making with Deliverology® to help our clients deliver meaningful, measurable results for citizens.

Delivery Analysts receive excellent training as well as frequent coaching and mentoring from peers and experts. Whether you wish to sharpen your presentation skills, improve client engagement, or increase area­ specific expertise, Delivery Associates provides pathways for Delivery Analysts to grow. While many Delivery Analysts have specialized knowledge or experience in one industry, most do not need focused expertise to be successful. For specialized candidates who join as a Delivery Analyst, this can mean developing experience in a completely new area.

Who are we looking for?

Ideal candidates are interested in supporting our growing partnership opportunities across Latin America and bring robust client­ facing experience in public sector contexts or direct experience delivering results through public service. A successful candidate is:

• Analytically minded, capable of breaking down problems and finding logical, creative solutions driven by data and evidence;
• A self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Able and excited to lead complex and high-stakes client interactions and planning logistics, including communications and vendor management
• Very organized and output oriented;
• Highly independent and accountable, with ability to efficiently complete many complicated tasks without close supervision (e.g., in a remote-office arrangement)
• Capable of learning Delivery Associates tools and approaches, with aptitude to directly support (and occasionally fill in for) DA Delivery Leaders as needed;
• Experience with tech products, public sector clients a plus

Other requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant, full-time work experience in government, consulting, public policy, and/or relevant field
• Availability to start as early as April 2021
• 12-month initial contract, with potential for longer-term extension
• Must be based anywhere in Latin America
• Up to 50% travel to client sites, subject to duty of care clearance. At present, work is largely remote
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; proficiency in both Spanish and Portuguese is desirable
