Delivery Analyst (Data - Latin America)

As a Delivery Analyst with a focus on data, you’ll work closely with public sector clients to design and implement strategies that deliver on policy commitments. You will improve policy outcomes through your work to formulate and test recommendations and by driving decision­ making at senior levels of government, from mayors to presidents or prime ministers. You’ll facilitate problem ­solving and collaboration across silos, planning and executing stakeholder workshops and bringing pace and focus to routine meetings. And you’ll build capacity for data­-driven decision­ making with Deliverology® to help our clients deliver meaningful, measurable results for citizens.

Who are we looking for?

For this vacancy we are seeking a candidate with specific skills in data. You should be skilled in data analysis, management, and use. You should be able to present economic and project-related data in intuitive, interesting, and user-friendly ways – including the use of graphs, charts and maps. A successful candidate is:

  • Analytically minded, capable of breaking down problems and finding logical, creative solutions driven by data and evidence
  • Fluent in structuring data and looking at solutions to automate collection, analysis, visualization and insights layers
  • Able and excited to lead complex and high-stakes client interactions that help them unlock new, creative solutions from data insights
  • Highly independent and accountable, with ability to efficiently complete many complicated tasks without close supervision (e.g., in a remote-office arrangement)
  • Capable of learning Delivery Associates tools and approaches

Other requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant, full-time work experience in a data-centric field (data science or data engineering); relevant experience in government, consulting and public policy is highly desirable.
  • Strong command of MS Office suite, esp. PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Expertise with at least one data analysis software
  • Experience in working with data visualization tools
  • Experience working with large data sets and relational databases
  • Advanced in knowledge of statistical modeling
  • Availability to start as early as September 2021
  • 12-month initial contract, with potential for longer-term extension
  • Can be based anywhere in Latin America
  • Up to 50% travel to client sites, subject to duty of care clearance. At present, work is largely remote
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is desirable
