Job Description

We are seeking a self-motivated and independent Growth Manager to lead our Growth team at Delivery Associates. DA has been steadily growing across six globally distributed regional teams. We are looking to grow our business globally while continuing to focus on helping public sector organizations to deliver lasting impact. We are looking for someone to lead and grow our business development function to support teams globally.

The Growth Manager will play a crucial role in liaising with marketing, organizing leads and proposals, and supporting internal teams pursuing external opportunities. This individual will be responsible for standing up processes, managing the CRM system, maintaining an archive of proposals, and coordinating training to internal staff. The Growth Manager will leverage technology and automation to streamline processes, including emerging tech such as generative AI. Additionally, they will coordinate our global accounts, ensure language and cultural fluency, manage all stages of the funnel, and work closely with senior leadership. The ideal candidate for this role should be comfortable with ambiguity, have a strong work ethic, and possess a builder mentality.

Responsibilities: 

  • Liaise with the marketing team to organize leads and proposals, supporting internal teams in their pursuit of external opportunities
  • Develop and implement processes to streamline lead management, proposal development, and CRM management
  • Maintain an archive of proposals and relevant documentation for reference and knowledge sharing
  • Provide training to internal staff on lead management, proposal development, and CRM usage to ensure consistency and efficiency
  • Identify and leverage technology and automation tools to optimize processes and improve proposal development
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, such as generative AI, and explore how they can enhance proposal development
  • Coordinate global accounts, ensuring language and cultural fluency in all communications
  • Manage all stages of the sales funnel, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring a smooth and efficient process
  • Work closely with senior leadership to align growth strategies with overall business objectives
  • Incorporate feedback from internal teams and stakeholders to continuously improve processes and deliver high-quality proposals
  • Conduct prospect research, competitive analyses, partnership development, and proposal writing
  • Manage procurement processes to support funnel management and provide business intelligence on the pipeline
  • Assist in the development of internal assets and provide training to the team to enhance their capabilities

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar growth-focused role, preferably in a technology or service-oriented industry
  • Strong understanding of lead management, proposal development, and CRM systems
  • Demonstrated ability to build processes and workflows from scratch and comfortable working in an ambiguous environment
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
  • Proficient in leveraging technology and automation to optimize processes
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and their potential applications in business development, particularly generative AI
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to coordinate global accounts and work across diverse teams
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and driven to achieve results
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred
