Overview

We are seeking a temporary contractor to support our Knowledge and Learning teams in codifying DA’s internal training approach, in order to ensure our team members are well prepared to help our partners deliver impact.

Job Description

DA works closely with governments at every level, all over the world, to implement policy in a way that translates to real outcomes for everyday people. We do the same for foundations and social impact organizations, helping turn innovative programs into lasting impact. In short, we help public sector partners get things done. We use a clear methodology – known as Deliverology® - to solve problems and help our partners deliver results. We’re successful in part because we master our approach and in part because we are empathetic, resourceful, level-headed, and dedicated to our clients and the people they serve. 

We are seeking a temporary contractor to work with us for six months to review and update our internal training curriculum and approach, particularly focused on our Deliverology® methodology and the core skills necessary in our work. 

We are looking for someone in this role specifically who will: 

  • Review, update, and create standard training modules on Deliverology® and core skills necessary to deliver: this includes creating interactive, practical application-based exercises, with clear session agendas, facilitator guidance, and supporting materials
  • Organize input and feedback on the training modules from key experts within DA; ensure feedback is incorporated and modules are quality controlled
  • Organize internal facilitators to test and pilot trainings and collect feedback
  • Develop and refine the process for preparing trainers from around the organization to deliver trainings

Required Skills/Experience:

These are the basics.

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years full time work experience, including experience in curriculum design or learning and development
  • Strong project management skills
  • Business-level English skills
