Summary

Aissatou is a development practitioner and strategy consultant with over six years’ experience in sustainable development and international cooperation at the national, regional, and international levels. She is skilled in development strategy design, program design and implementation, marketing, data analysis, partner engagement, and resource and community mobilization. Aissatou brings to DA a passion for advancing equity, building sustainable partnerships, and connecting businesses to their communities.

Delivery Experience

Aissatou leads DA’s support for the Lives and Livelihood Fund in Senegal, where she and her team are working with the Ministry of Health to deliver a national malaria elimination program. Her role combines technical support, capacity building, and delivery strategizing to drive effective project implementation. Through her work, Aissatou hopes to achieve the 2030 malaria elimination Sustainable Development Goal in Senegal.

Other Experience

Aissatou has consulted for numerous organizations, with a focus on agriculture, health, education, and public-private partnerships. At Dalberg Advisory, she designed strategies and programs at the national and regional levels for governments, NGOs, and international organizations. Aissatou worked with Institut Pasteur Dakar to develop a vaccine manufacturing financing strategy.  

Aissatou also supported the Planned Parenthood Federation of America in establishing successful partnerships with three private companies in the technology and pharmaceutical fields to advance youth sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR) in Kenya. As a junior consultant at the United Nations Population Fund, Aissatou led the implementation of youth SRHR-oriented programs in the post-conflict region of Kivu; she also oversaw capacity-building efforts for local youth organizations, offering training and technical support to advance their community impact.
