Chris is a public servant skilled at helping state, tribal, and local governments navigate complex decision-making, oversight, and program implementation challenges. He is particularly interested in crisis response and government effectiveness.
Chris is working with two education non-profits to expand their impact and prepare more young people for the modern workforce.
Chris was previously a Senior Program Specialist at the USDA’s Food and Nutrition Service, where he helped ensure that people around the country had access to healthy food. In this role, he oversaw emergency hunger relief programs across the Western U.S., including working across multiple levels of government to ensure millions of Americans received the assistance they needed during the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic.
