Jasmin is a results-driven leader with international experience in education, human capital and labour market development. She has a solid history of accomplishments in devising and implementing effective strategies across the developing world, as well as leading transformational change in the public sector.
Jasmin is supporting the Ministry of Agriculture of the Solomon Islands to improve incomes and livelihoods during a time of immense budgetary pressures and political turmoil, against the backdrop of a global pandemic.
Jasmin previously served in the Prime Minister's Delivery Unit in the government of Malaysia, and supported delivery units in Oman, Russia, Tanzania, India and South Africa. In South Africa, she worked with the government to designate 5% of its waters as Marine Protected Areas. Jasmin facilitated the preparatory phases of this work using delivery tools and methods. Through these efforts, the Department of Environment managed to implement the initiative—which had been in the works for over a decade—in two years.
Jasmin also worked for the World Bank and the United Nations prior to joining the public sector.
