Josh is a public sector implementation specialist with a background in international development and foreign affairs. He works with governments across the Asia-Pacific to implement their priorities with impact. He has supported partners to deliver near-term goals in agriculture, education, and social services while building their capacity to deliver on future priorities.
Education
Delivery Experience
Josh is currently supporting Wellington City to implement an innovative resident engagement project to improve climate democracy and decision-making.
Previously, he supported the Samoan Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries to deliver high-impact grants to farmers and fishers. He worked with education departments in New Zealand and New South Wales on curriculum, qualification, and workforce reform projects. In addition, Josh has led projects to improve effectiveness of domestic violence and social work services in New South Wales.
Other Experience
Prior to joining DA, Josh served in the New Zealand foreign service. In this capacity he managed multimillion-dollar aid investments in the Pacific, negotiated free trade agreements, and served on diplomatic assignment in Washington D.C.
