Josh is a public sector implementation specialist with a background in international development and foreign affairs. He works with governments across the Asia-Pacific to implement their priorities with impact. He has supported partners to deliver near-term goals in agriculture, education, and social services while building their capacity to deliver on future priorities.

Delivery Experience

Josh has worked with diverse partners across the Asia-Pacific to deliver results. In Samoa, he supported the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries to build delivery capacity while rolling out a grants programme improving sector resilience and revenue. He has supported projects in New Zealand to strengthen education workforce planning and boost climate change engagement with residents. Working with government and NGO partners across South East Asia, Josh has coached agriculture officials in results-based management and supported the delivery of climate priorities. In New South Wales, he has led work with the Department of Communities and Justice to improve the effectiveness of domestic violence and social work services, and supported the Department of Education to improve impact through the rollout of curriculum and accreditation reform projects.

Other Experience

Prior to joining DA, Josh served in the New Zealand foreign service. In this capacity he managed multimillion-dollar aid investments in the Pacific, negotiated free trade agreements, and served on diplomatic assignment in Washington, D.C.
