Summary

Matt is passionate about supporting teams, governments and movements that aim to improve people's lives and the planet. His experience—which spans a wide range of institutions, sectors and geographical areas—has included collaborating with the Ministry of Health in Malawi to strengthen community health systems; serving as COO at Social Enterprise Greenhouse (a nonprofit supporting social entrepreneurs and small businesses in Rhode Island); and working on finance, strategy and marketing in the private sector.

Delivery Experience

Matt is working on the Community Funding Accelerator, collaborating with communities across the country to develop and scale impactful education and workforce solutions by securing and implementing federal funding.

Other Experience

As COO for Social Enterprise Greenhouse, Matt led operations and programming during the pandemic, helping the organization navigate unprecedented challenges while responding to the urgent needs of Rhode Island's small business and entrepreneurial community. Under his leadership, the organization achieved its largest-ever reach and impact while significantly increasing the diversity and representation of clients served.

Matt also collaborated with the Malawi Ministry of Health to develop and implement the country's first National Community Health Strategy and help build out the Community Health Services department at the federal and district levels.
