Melon's efforts are dedicated to enhancing the public sector's performance and outcome orientation and trajectory, particularly in health, education, employment, job creation, government effectiveness, and change management. She has collaborated with senior leaders in a wide range of African countries, including, but not limited to, Togo, Madagascar, Sierra Leone, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Burkina Faso, Benin, and South Africa.

Melon has cultivated a profound understanding of building public sector capacity across the delivery chain, including delivering results on government priorities, enhancing the governance of public sector entities, and promoting data-driven decision-making and innovation. In the face of rapid changes, complex operations, and uncertainty in the public sector, she guides governments in defining success measures and strategies to execute their priorities effectively.

  • Supported a data and performance management program across four countries, improving health outcomes.
  • Designed a senior executive leadership program for health ministers and senior leadership teams to drive the continental health agenda.
  • Built delivery culture and capabilities within government teams to address citizens' needs effectively.
Other Experience

Before joining Delivery Associates, Melon was a Senior Project Lead at the Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Agency, where she oversaw strategic projects.
