Nadya is a former educator and gifted communicator with experience working across the health, education and climate policy areas in the US and Europe. Whether she’s leading an education technology company or supporting US cities to reduce carbon emissions, she brings to her work a passion for protecting our planet for future generations and providing education opportunities for all.
Nadya is currently working on reducing homelessness in the UK. Previously, she helped Bloomberg Philanthropies and the NRDC design and deliver a programme supporting 25 US cities in reducing their carbon emissions. She has also advised the UK government on ongoing delivery priorities, including climate work such as identifying progress trajectories for specific climate goals to help reach net zero emissions by 2050. Specifically, she led the design and set-up of the UK government’s Net Zero delivery team.
Additionally, Nadya designed and rolled out a delivery programme for the World Health Organisation (WHO) to support eight countries in meeting ambitious health objectives.
Prior to joining DA, Nadya was a teacher for three years, and was responsible for the Gifted and Talented cohort at her school. Under her leadership, the cohort achieved its best academic results in the school’s history.
She was also a public sector consultant with BCG, advising the UK government, Transport for London and multiple private companies across the travel and finance sectors. As COO for an education technology start-up, she supported hundreds of schools across the UK in introducing digital learning, and built a small business from 10 to 50 employees.
