Delivery Experience

Rostam's work focuses on climate change, social policy, economic development, and government effectiveness. His projects have spanned assisting a major philanthropy to shape an upcoming initiative that focuses on climate and equity policies and programs, and developing a plan to improve the enrollment and delivery of benefits such as the Child Tax Credit for a senior government partner. Rostam also recently helped a large foundation identify investment opportunities in the State of Texas to strengthen underserved community access to postsecondary education and job training.

Other Experience

Prior to joining DA, Rostam developed a Foreign Direct Investment strategy in partnership with the World Bank Group for an upper middle market economy that promoted equitable and sustainable growth. He also helped shape public-private partnership strategies for a global office at the US Department of State. Prior to that, Rostam was a consultant for several scientific research and development organizations, helping them develop future-focused strategies that enhanced the impact of their operations.

Rostam received a full tuition fellowship to study public policy at The George Washington University, where he also served as a teaching assistant for philosophy and ethics coursework. During his studies he was awarded a grant from the Davis Foundation to produce and co-direct a documentary about Islam in America.
