Delivery Experience

Sâmara works with Bloomberg Philanthropies to replicate Mayors Challenge winning ideas in other cities. She offers technical assistance to help cities disseminate innovations and transfer knowledge, skills, tools, and resources to other municipalities interested in adopting these practices in their local contexts. She has prepared materials and carried out communication activities and events through digital channels to raise awareness and engage governments. The purpose of her current work is to build a collaborative and powerful network of cities across the globe.

Other Experience

Sâmara's background is in business development in the private education sector. Her work studying the market, designing and piloting projects, and implementing operations has impacted more than 2,000 schools in 600 cities across Brazil. To achieve this, she managed and listened to stakeholders across the education delivery chain, from students and pedagogical teams to school owners, understanding their needs, raising awareness, and fostering in them a common goal: delivering a more efficient and entertaining learning experience for students. She has always used technology as her main ally in the scale of her proposed solutions.
