Summary
Shara is a former educator who has supported schools and districts across the US as a customer success manager for an education technology company. She also serves as an elected official on her local school board. Shara is deeply committed to addressing systemic inequities and driving change by building strong relationships, forming impactful coalitions, and creating innovative policies.

Other Experience
In her role as San Mateo-Foster City School Board Trustee, Shara spearheaded the development of the Board’s equity strategy, leveraging district metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and community leader feedback to establish key equity priorities. She also authored a resolution to establish a 20-member Equity Taskforce.
At Goalbook, Shara launched and facilitated a two-day, biannual Design Thinking Institute, introducing 200+ educational leaders to the methodology as a development tool to drive change and create social impact.
