Closing the Public Funding Gap to Strengthen K-12 Education and Workforce Pathways
Since 2023, the Community Funding Accelerator (CFA), an initiative managed by Delivery Associates (DA), has helped over 80 communities win more than $467 million in public funding to prepare young people and adults for in-demand careers. Local leaders, education systems, and workforce organizations are navigating a rapidly changing economy. Many lack the resources to compete for the federal grants that could help them. CFA closes that gap by identifying funding opportunities, building the partnerships competitive applications require, and staying on through implementation to help local partners put public dollars to work. From a nursing career pipeline in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, to a citywide workforce strategy in Birmingham, Alabama, CFA has helped communities secure funding that is expanding training, creating jobs, and opening doors to better work.
